TEDxZurich 2015 - Re-Imagining Everything // Art Direction
In 2015 I became the Art Director of TEDxZurich. My first event was named "Re-imagining Everything". An event of unconventionally thinking and to open up new perspectives.
My name is Oliver Langner, and my passion is creating and managing professional and innovative solutions for progressive clients in various industries.
In recent years I have proven my expertise in marketing, branding, and communication design. Today I am expanding my knowledge in Design Systems, analytics, management, and the training of the next generation of creative talents at UBS.
In April 2019, I joined Lufthansa Systems to optimize the pilot navigation product experience for multiple airlines and develop the Design System for web and native applications. As the Design System Lead in the UI/UX team, I played a key role in global collaboration, guiding creative teams, managing digital assets, and ensuring visual consistency across platforms.

2016 was the second consecutive year as the Art Director of TEDxZurich. The motto of „People first“ conceptualized the intersection of technology, policy, design, and humanity.
After two successful years at TEDxZurich, I’ve decided to hand over the design responsibilities for the third year. Together with my successor, we created the design concept „Opening doors“.
Appway provides browser-based process-automation software, which is easy to integrate into every existing system. Anchored in the marketing team I am generating omnichannel brand experiences on a global scale.
A new name and look for EFG Financial Products, the independent provider of investment products, which was launched in the Swiss Stock Exchange fall 2014.
The Personal Shop provides various brands, from well-known labels as well as their own. The challenge was to restructure and expand their brand portfolio with six new fashion labels and redesign of six existing ones.
The new design of Migrol gas stations made by Brandpulse had to be summarized in a clear guideline.
The worldwide operating company Novissa, a distributor of kitchen appliances, developed the “Vita Juicer”, a new kind of multifunctional juicer. A brand had to be developed which represents the uniqueness of the product and transports the message of a natural and healthy lifestyle.
An institution like the Bank of Cyprus requires a thorough design overview and guideline for all active agencies working for BOC to guarantee an identical look worldwide.
Every year the Bank of Cyprus releases the report for the institutions’ social corporate responsibility and self-regulation. My task was to compile information, visualize data, and generate the editorial design.
